
Rome wasn't built in a day and in the history of the Eternal City templesand churches formed the stage for many of a city’s most important religious rites, and they also provided the site for other elaborate displays of wealth and power by the governing elite. Votive offerings were prominent in central Italian cult places. Believers and pilgrims came to Rome across the centuries to thank a god for answering a prayer or for giving some other sign of divine favor. For this reasons we think that it's more than worth to explore with us the Forums as they gave birth to the Western civilization.
